Globally Connected- International Support Community of Bay County will be hosting an
International Food and Culture Night
Saturday, September 22, 2012
5:30-7:30pm

Childcare Provided- RSVP if needed- We will eat together with our
families and then children will go with the babysitter while we have
group discussion.
Please bring a dish (main course, appetizer,
dessert or side) from your child's birth country to share with the
group. You can find recipes online by googling " 'Country Name' authentic recipes".
We will provide paper goods and drinks. Please be prepared to share
with the group a little about the origin of the dish and if it has a
special meaning in your child's birth country. Also feel free to dress
your child in clothes from their birth country and/or bring items you
collected in their birth country (art, books, decor, etc.) to share with
the group.
We will also have a time for brainstorming ways of teaching our children about culture as they grow.
Please RSVP and let us know if you can attend. We would like to have a head count by Monday, September 17th.
